Sunday Confessions: To keep or not to keep?

 Happy Sunday Ya’ll!

I’ve been on a mental vacation since Thursday night so I apologize this weekend entry is coming at ya so late! I thought I’d do a Sunday Confessions link up for the first time.

1. I finally chose relaxing with friends and enjoying time with my family over blogging, for the first time in WEEKS and I feel guilty. But also incredibly relaxed and joyous.

2. I have a $100 Michael Kors bright teal wristlet glaring at me because I bought 2 different colored clutches as a gift for one of my best friends and she chose the other color (I had every intention to return the one she didn’t want!). But everyone that knows me know teal is my color and its beautiful! However I feel incredibly guilty for having a clutch that costs $100! Help me make a decision, to keep or not to keep?!?

3. I gave up fast food since the beginning of June (with 1 cheat day a month) and I’m starting to get cravings. I wish I could say I was one of those people who find fast food disgusting but honestly I don’t and I won’t apologize for that! What I would do for an In N Out protein style burger… Any fast food you love?

Link up with Alyx today!

See you all tomorrow for Mani Monday!

  1. It’s always great to spend time with friends and family! I think you should keep the clutch… if you love it and plan on keeping it for a long time, it will be a worthwhile purchase! 🙂

  2. Wow, that’s a nice clutch! I hate feeling guilty keeping something that expensive. Sometimes you have to treat yourself though! Sorry I don’t have much of an answer lol

    • I know right?! I don’t have an answer either clearly! haha Thanks for the tip, I think it is nice to treat yourself once in awhile! Thanks for stopping by Lyss!

  3. I agree with everyone else! I love it, its beautiful! If you love it and haven’t splurged on yourself in a while -I’d keep it! Or you could just give it to me…! 😉

    • Haha girl, if it wasn’t Michael Kors or $100, I totally would’ve done a giveaway just so I could stop feeling guilty. But thanks for letting me know your opinion, i think it’s beautiful too!

  4. KEEP IT. Once in a while splurge does NOT hurt (i just purchase an iPad 2, out of nowhere because my brother had an extra one and needed help. Mmm… 2 second decision).

And yes, I do LOVE In-N-Out and McD’s (–> major guilty pleasure). I would love to give up fast food. I need the drive. Bah!!!

    • Girl it has been ROUGH. I mean more than anything my motivation is keeping Rob from eating fast food when we’re together (that man LOVES McD). But it’s getting harder. And yay for the new iPad!!! 🙂

  5. keep up the good work on the no fast food! It can be so hard to say no to the greasy. But to be honest, In-n-Out grilled cheese, lettuce, tomato & onion only is just about my favorite thing in the world. so much respect for being able to curve those cravings!

    • Lol it has NOT been easy!! I got through the month decent but come this 2nd month and I swear the commercials are mocking me! GAH. Keep me honest Nicole 😉

  6. If you can afford to keep it and know you will use it, then keep it! You deserve to treat yourself every once in a while. 🙂
And… I did the same thing this weekend – left my laptop at home while we went on vacation even though the hotel had internet. Sooo glad I did it – it was a great little break.
    Thanks for linking up!

  7. I say if you feel guilty about it, take it back. It will continue to linger in the back of your mind. You will feel so good to let it go. When you are at a place to spend that much on a bag and have the money ready, the guilt free shopping is so much more enjoyable! But I have the same exact problem…so I hear ya! 😉

Thank you so much for commenting! I read ALL comments and I truly treasure every single one! :)
