I spent most of last night working on a craft project that I’m excited to show you! That means that blogging took a backseat so for Current Crush today, I used Polyvore for the first time. INCREDIBLE! So much easier than creating my own collages in Photoshop. Further proof that I pick the HARDEST way of accomplishing things. Anyhoot, here’s some fall essentials I’m dying to own!
Link up with the lovely Danielle!
Current Crush: Fall Fun
I’ve really grown to LOVE layering in the fall, especially because the fabrics of winter are SO forgiving (knits and leggings FTW!). Nothing like an oversized sweater thrown over a tank top and some brown boots. I LOVE summer even with the sweltering heat but every once in awhile, fall just feels so good. Plus, when the weather changes it reminds me that Christmas is right around the corner (Oh yea, I went there. I mentioned Christmas in August, hate me if you will). 29 days until Fall hits!
What part of fall fashion is your favorite? Boots? Sweaters? Leggings?
Happy Thursday loves!
P.S. Thank you for ALL of your encouraging words on yesterday’s post! Each little bit of encouragement is pushing me harder (I drank over 80 oz of water by 4 pm…crazy!) and I’m so happy to hear other bloggers want to jump on the fitness train with me. I’m going to think of some ways that we can share some of our fitness tips and support each other. 🙂 Stay tuned.
I spent and am currently spending a lovely weekend in SF enjoying the cooler temperatures and taking in the city! I’m so serious about relaxation that I didn’t even bring my MacBook so this is as good as the entry is going to get on Rob’s IPad. Anyhoot, I went to my first Renegade craft fair and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Until then, just soak in this instagram I took at Fort Mason yesterday, I swear it never ceases to amaze me as to how good the iPhone camera can be.
Also, I’m participating in my first group giveaway with the lovely Danielle at Framed Frosting so take a second to enter! Just follow Danielle, then leave a comment stating how you follow me (blog, twitter, facebook) and check out the other fabulous ladies and follow for more entries! It’s that easy to win all 8 prizes!
I am SO happy the end of the week is almost here but I have about 1,000 things to do before my family leaves on Saturday morning so I’m feelin a little swamped! Mostly because I couldn’t think of a more concise category, I decided to roll with a Things I’m Lovin current crush and I hope you find something you love too!
I am SO close to splurging and buying myself the Erin Condren planner that every blogger says they can’t live without. I even got a tweet from @ErinCondren last night encouraging me! Also as if I needed MORE from Michael Kors, I didn’t know they had a MacBook Pro case! I swear that man designs things just to steal Rob’s my paychecks. Hehe…
The winner of the Essie giveaway is the lovely Nicole from Treasure Tromp! Thank you so much for everyone who entered, followed and tweeted, I really truly appreciate it! Every new follower is a blessing to me and I cannot thank you enough!
Do any of you have an Erin Condren planner? Let me know what you think about them!!
Today I’m joining up again with one of my favorites link ups, Current Crush Thursdays! I’m only 5’0″ so as long as I have somewhere to go, I’m in heels or wedges to give me that added bump. Wedges are the perfect way to dress up a summer look so here are some wedges I’m simply obsessing about!
Yesterday via convos with some of my favorite bloggers Danielle, Punky and Tammy I discovered that I am indeed a No-Reply Blogger. 😦 Not by choice but because WordPress doesn’t allow me to comment with my e-mail attached. So I apologize to all you bloggers who desperately hate no-reply bloggers, I have no choice in the matter! I plan to investigate and blog more about this in my weekend entry so stay tuned for more.
Also, I realized my replies to your comments aren’t getting to you wonderful people, unless you come back to the entry?! That’s no fun. I think I’m going to start replying via e-mail unless its relevant to more than one person. Any thoughts on that? Hope that works!
I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! Mine was spent exactly as it ought to be, relaxing. Rob and I spent a majority of the day lounging around after leisurely sleeping in and then going to Elk Grove Park for the fireworks show with my family. My Dad grilled up some steaks, red potatoes and we picnicked until the fireworks at night. Heavenly…
So for today’s current crush, I’ve been really into statement necklaces. Especially the J.crew bubble necklace that EVERYONE owns! My favorite way that statement necklaces are styled is with a neutral colored top but a bright pop of necklace and other accessories. Case and point, Jessica over at Lovely Little Things in this outfit. She’s rockin it right?!
Do you have a favorite? I’m loving the coral one from Francescas, it would compliment so many different outfits. If you recommend any places to buy affordable and cute statement necklaces, leave me a comment and let me know!!
How’d you spend your 4th of July? Hope you had a great one!
